Postage.
We aim to deliver our goods in line with the Royal Mail.
We do post overseas - Please see pricing info at the bottom of the page for more details.
Please note countries outside the EU may have to pay customs duty.
Posting by us
We only sell part time due to other work and personal commitments.
We process all orders Sunday evening and Monday.
We also process Royal Mail (NOT courier) orders Wednesday Evening and Thursday.
We process orders on a first pay first serve basis.
Please pay by 9.00am Monday for postage Monday Afternoon or courier pickup Tuesday. (We have to book the courier Monday).
Please pay by 9.00am Thursday for Royal Mail postage Thursday Afternoon Note - Only courier pickup Tuesdays.
Payment on Saturday - We aim to post Monday
Payment on Sunday - We aim to post Monday
Delivery Costs
Costs are as listed with the price of the item.
Where we list the prices as free we post Royal Mail 2nd class recorded or courier.
Charged postage is Royal Mail 2nd class Recorded or courier.
Packaging
The
item will be wrapped in bubble wrap and then wrapped in protective cardboard or
placed in a cardboard box.
This does add 100g to 200g to the overall weight of
the item.
The extra weight of the protective packaging does depend on the size
of the item and consequently the additional weight may be more than 200g.
Postage costs will therefore tend to be slightly higher than that charged by
other sellers but of course your item will be well protected from damage.
We
have packed all our sold items using the above method and to date no reports of
transit damage have been reported to us even though some of the items I have
sold have been very delicate.
Overseas Pricing information
Sales to countries outside the EU may require customs duty to be paid. This is out of our control.
Posting overseas – Royal Mail
We use www.royalmail.com
We only post Monday afternoons and Thursday afternoons.
Due to the number of enquiries asking for an overseas postage price and we cannot process them all please self price using the data above in the description with the postage prices below.
Please note the above total item weight includes packaging weight.
We use Royal Mail Airmail signed for only – ‘AIRSURE’– Please note “Signed for”
Max weight = 2kg. Over 2kg there is no Royal Mail service therefore we use a courier.
Royal Mail Overseas Postage prices:
There are two price zones:
‘Europe’ which for mailing purposes includes the whole of Russia
‘The rest of the world’
These prices are the standard Airmail prices with the extra £3.70 ‘Signed for’ service cost added.
